Gdansk is a major Polish city in the Baltic coast and a strong economic hub. The connection with the sea, based on trading and exchange with neighbouring countries are the keys to the city’s success and form the integral part of its identity. The Shipyard area always played an important role in shaping Gdansk’s good fortunes. Now this place can support the growth of the inner city.
The Imperial Shipyard is the only large area within the inner city of Gdansk that allows for creating the mixed-use inner city - a place for living, working and recreation in a dense urban environment.
